Hubbard's Impala Parts Introduces New Carolina Smoothie Bumpers
New One-Piece Bumpers for 1964 Chevrolet Impala

BURLINGTON, NC, July 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For almost 20 years Hubbard's Impala Parts (HIP) has been leading the way with a progressive product line. Now, the company is proud to introduce their new 1964 Carolina Smoothie Bumpers.

These bumpers are a seamless, one-piece design that are made to fit the original bumper brackets with no visible bolts for a truly smooth look. HIP's bumpers are laser-cut and triple-chrome-plated for superior shine and durability.

The Carolina Smoothie idea evolved when HIP' s owner, James Hubbard, was looking for something new to bring into the classic car market. He had noticed more and more custom cars at shows and felt that maybe that was the direction that the market was heading.

He had seen the extremely rare tri-five one-piece bumpers on cars at various shows and decided he would reproduce the one-piece bumper. After months of extensive research, several test fits and design modifications, production of the Carolina Smoothie began in March 2010. The 1964 bumpers are expected to be available to the market by the end of July 2010. The 1963 and 1962 models are to follow.

These one-piece bumpers (Part# Front-64FB1, Rear-64RB1) will be priced at $299.95 each.

"At Hubbard's Impala Parts, it's all we do," said James Hubbard. "All Impalas, all the time."
